The fragrance opens with pungent, herbal rosemary, bitter artemisia, and clean, refreshing lavender. Green, leafy basil and verbena then jump in, followed by a citrus wave of cheerful lemon and sweet bergamot orange to complete a complex and varied top. Tart coriander and piquant cinnamon open the heart, then transition to bright and vivid carnation and romantic, powdery jasmine for a floral bouquet in the middle. Juniper adds an evergreen, piney-fresh scent. The base is powerful and efficacious; distinctly animalic leather joins the herbal, earthy scent of sandalwood and fir tree resin for a forest ambience, enhanced by natural cedar and smoky vetiver. Oakmoss lends a slightly damp sense to the sillage, while creamy amber and sweet patchouli keeps the fragrance from having a harsh edge.
