Based on the original GT40, the MK IV has the same 7.0L engine of the MK II but features all new exterior styling and safety features after the Miles accident. It competed in only 2 races; the 1967 12 Hours of Sebring and the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans but won both events! Truly a signifcant achievement for this Ford MK IV.
